This activity invites Katherine DeMarco, DNP, MSHS, APN, FNP-BC, ACHPN, Clinical Supervisor, Pain & Palliative Medicine Institute, Hackensack Meridian Health Network and Erica Rotundo, MSN, ANP-BC, ACHPN , Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Medicine, Westchester Medical Center Health Network to share their leadership journeys, common themes, and lessons learned in leading APN teams in palliative practice. The successful pillars of APN leadership in palliative care will be discussed to include program structure, program variability and leadership skills as they reflect through case studies on how success is translated into leadership practice.
